Tomales Bay Oysters Run

Yesterday (Sunday), a few of us from NCR gathered at Jamba Juice at Greenbrae around 10am to get ready to make a run to the Tomales Bay Oysters Co. for some fresh seafood goodness. The group was about 15 people w/8 cars. After waiting for a few late arrivals, we set course to drive up Sir Francis Drake Blvd. toward Highway 1 where the oysters company located a little short of 11pm. The drive there was breezy and relax as there were only a few cars on the road and the heat had finally cool down from Saturday. When we got there there were only a few tables left and we quick grab one. Once we got settled, Brian and I went and got 2 bags of oysters and a few of us quickly went to work on them while the BBQ is being setup. Melina brought a bag full of hot sauce and we wasted no time in tasting all of them. Once the BBQ was set, more oysters were put on the grill while the corn dogs were grilling on the side. Ken (miatale93), was our chef of the day and he also brought along his secret recipe short-rib. By the time our chef was working on the 2nd batch of short-rib, we were pretty full by then. The weather/temp was nice, the food was great, not to mentioned the companies there were awesome. After the BBQ, Ken lead a few of the people for a short drive back to civilization.
