Miatapalooza 08

BAMA (Bay Area Miata Association) had been organizing the Miatapalooza for a few years already. This year was held at the same place as last year at Monster Park on Saturday (Sept. 27). There were more than 50 Miata attended and most of them had been well taken care of. Also a few of them were dedicated track/auto-x monster. A few of the vendors like PR Motorsports and Clearwater speakers showed up for support and promote their services and products. One major addition was the auto-x timing. Thanks to one of the BAMA member bring his SCCA timing equipment and trailer, we were able to get the lap timed. The food tasted great and were plentiful. Other than the small problem with the cater, the event was a success. Looking forward for next year event and hopefully I my car will be in good enough shape to test out the auto-x.
